[] Almost all RCs have almost no history of human usage. If you take something like 2c-i, or 6-apb, 5-meo-pcp, methoxetamine, 25i-nbome, DOC, I mean these chemicals are really untested. The only upside is the guy who discovered most the phenyls and tryptamines lived to be almost 100 years old after ingesting nearly all of them.

[] The problem with Starbucks is twofold. Their beans ARE darker roasted than a lot of other companies, which can make it taste 'burnt'. But also when it comes to drip coffee they brew it at 205-210 degrees, the very edge of a rolling boil. Most enthusiasts recommend more like 175-195 depending on the exact method. So this leads to much of the 'burnt' taste. It also makes the coffee way too hot to drink right out of the machine.
Problem is, they have to do this because if it's not scalding hot people will complain that it's too cold after they dump two gallons of cream into it. Source: I'm a Former Starbucks Barista of almost 5 years - regularly got complaints that the coffee wasn't hot enough in spite of this.
I'd recommend getting espresso drinks there or cold brew. They do much better work in those areas IMO.
