Its kind of hard for me to explain why i deserve to win this contest simply because I dont want it to seem like im using him or his disabilities to win this. Even if i dont place at all thats OK! i am just proud that i was given the gift of patience to do what i do everyday so why not share it? because those small acts of kindness (like learning how to button pants) dont just happen in a day. Sometimes it's such a challenge it can take months for us to accomplish a goal. It took about 3 months to accomplish tying shoes! You cant build rome overnight right? :) and he cant give anything in return, but he does! he gives me the gift of showing me hes thankful and the gift of watching him grow into a young adult. the fact that we are doing it together is priceless!
