Thierry Neuville won the Rally Italia-Sardegna to become the fifth winner of a round this year. Nueville finished 24.8 seconds ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala of Volkswagen Motorsport after four days of rough gravel stages on the Mediterranean island. Coming in third in the sixth round of the 2016 WRC season is reigning champion Sebastien Ogier of Volkswagen Motorsport who also won the final live TV Power Stage to claim three bonus points.
