Nepal, June 18 (ANI): In order to implement the constitution within the stipulated time, the government has prepared a detailed plan which includes holding the local, provincial, federal elections as well as the election of president and vice president by the end of next year. The plan also includes holding elections for the National Assembly and House of Representatives by next October/November to implement the constitution. A cabinet meeting held at the prime minister's residence on Thursday approved the plan. The government charted out the plans in line with the public speech that PM K.P. Sharma Oli had given on Wednesday. According to the government plan, the language commission and high courts will be formed by mid-November. A commission to determine the election regions for the federal and provincial polls will be formed by mid-November and the commission will submit its report by mid-February. According to the government plan, the formation of constitutional bodies and the elections for local bodies will be held within mid-December. Laws related to coordination of local, provincial and federal civil servants as well as the presidential election and polls for vice president will formulated within mid-January. The government has unveiled its plans for the next 22 months at a time when the main opposition Nepali Congress has been blaming the government in delaying the implementation of the constitution.
