WALES, U.K. — A hungry seagull found himself at the bottom of a vat of curry last week after flying by a food factory for a meal.
On June 7, Vale Wildlife Hospital posted a series of colorful photos on its Facebook page of the seagull. The bird’s feathers had turned bright orange after it fell into a tub of chicken tikka masala that had been left outside. Rescued by factory workers on site, the poor gull was picked up by a volunteer at the animal hospital and given a bath.
They were able to rinse off most of the orangey coating on his feathers, but the smell didn’t come off so easy. The bird has been nicknamed “Gullfrazie” by Facebook users and is being kept at the animal care centre until he’s put on some weight.
