ADNAN OKTAR: If Putin sticks to his even-tempered manner, his reputation will not be tarnished at all. However, action speaks louder than words. For instance, he may say, "We should establish an international arbitration court to inquire into the issue, as a result, if we were in the wrong for entering Turkish airspace, by committing a violation in this regard, we are ready to apologize. On the other hand, if our plane was wrongfully downed by Turkey, Turkey must apologize." Then, the entire world will applaud him loudly. However, he is still demanding for an apology. There are evidences, what are you going to do with that? But, saying, “I do not care about evidence, you should apologize" will not help. In other words, Putin should adopt and stick to a moderate approach. For instance, he should say in regard to the issue of oil, "We have some documents on it, and we should let an international arbitration court examine them." Instead, if you say, “I have heard from Fuat Avni [who is known for making claims on the social media concerning government actions] that you are buying oil from ISIS", people will laugh at you and discredit you. Then, nobody would believe in your further statements. A statesman should not act like that. See, he is a well-liked person, and we want to protect and look out for him. We appreciate his services for the Islamic world and for the Qur'an and know that he is well intentioned, but if he takes it as a matter of pride and leads to a crisis in a stew, it would not be reasonable. He should act like a sensible person.
