A rescued bear was recently filmed enjoying a bubble bath at Animal Asia's Vietnam bear Rescue Centre.'Murphy' the bear cub was rescued nearly a year ago from an animal trafficker in Vietnam who had already killed his mother and was carrying the six-week-old cub in his backpack. The video of 'Murphy' is "very funny to watch but there's a serious reason behind providing the bubbles", said vet team director Annemarie Weegenaar, adding the animals need to be physically and mentally challenged."For cubs it also means the occasional bubble bath."The organization says it has rescued nearly 600 bears from the bear bile industry in the region. Bear bile is used in traditional medicine.
