Recipe for: Noodle Salad
I made this to take to a friends party and everyone loved it. you can even use pasta instead of noodles, it's equally mouth watering!
Ingredients:
Half cucumber
2 tomatoes
1 red onion
1 Tbsp soy sauce
100g noodles
150g smoky bacon
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1 Tsp vinegar
Small bunch coriander
2 cloves garlic
Method:
Thinly slice the red onion
Slice the tomatoes into thin slices
Slice and cut the cucumber into thin threats
Place chopped ingredients in a mixing bowl
Chop the garlic
Roughly chop the coriander
Place them in the mixing bowl
Cut the bacon into thin threads
Place on a dish for later
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan
Add the bacon into the pan
Fry for 5 minutes until golden and crispy
Remove from the pan onto a dish to cool
Boil 1 litre of water in a pan
Add the noodles and boil for 5 to 10 minutes until soft – the length of boiling time can be vary depends on the type of noodles
Remove from the pan into a colander and drain
Place noodle under running cold water for 2 minutes and drain
Add salt to your taste into the mixing bowl
Add sesame oil, vinegar…and bacon onto the salads
Mix all ingredients together Add the fried bacon & mix
Add the cooked noodles & soy sauce
Mix all ingredients together
Transfer onto a dish and serve
