US-trained Syrian fighters make gains against ISIL

Syrian fighters trained by US special forces and backed by coalition air strikes have made gains in a new offensive against ISIL.
The operation is designed to retake the town of Manbij and to cut off ISIL's access to Syria's border with Turkey.
