U.S. President Barack Obama is in Hiroshima, becoming the first sitting U.S. president to visit since the 1945 atomic bombing of the city.
In his remarks, Obama commemorated the victims of the bombing and called for a world without nuclear weapons.
As expected, he did not offer an apology for the bombing.
He also visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.
An estimated one-hundred-forty-thousand people were killed in the bombing,.. including twenty-thousand Koreans.
