Boussam Abdulahi was kidnapped by Boko Haram in northern Nigeria and held for three months before being rescued and fleeing to the Diffa region of Niger. She was one of an estimated 150,000 people displaced by the Islamist group to settle along a single road. The UNHCR has now begun relocating hundreds of Nigerian refugees from makeshift settlements in the region into more secure camps.
