Guwahati, May 24 (ANI): Preparations are in full swing in Assam’s Guwahati, where Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sarbananda Sonowal will be swearing-in as the Chief Minister of Assam today. The swearing in ceremony will take place in Guwahati's Khanapara field and would be attended by diplomats from SAARC countries besides Prime Minister Narendra Modi, chief ministers of NDA-ruled states and Union Cabinet ministers. Along with Sonowal, 11 ministers are likely to take oath of office. Massive security arrangements have been made in the entire city. CCTV cameras have also been installed everywhere at the venue. The entire Guwahati has got a new look, as banners and hoardings of NDA leaders have been displayed. Over one lakh people are expected to turn out for the event.
