The colors were washed because color space conversion took place when i used handbrake. The uncompressed video was rendered in 0-255 and Handbrake always uses 16-235, so it had to convert the colors and that was the main cause of the bad contrast. Best solution is to render the video in 16-235. A good codec for rendering is Ut Video Codec. I choose YUV420. Hope that helps future MMDers :D
