New Delhi, May 23 (ANI): Canadian singer-songwriter The Weeknd dominated the 2016 Billboard Music Awards with eight wins in different categories. The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, scored 19 nominations out of which he took home eight awards, more than any male artist in Billboard history. The pop star from Toronto dedicated one of his wins to Prince, who died last month. 'The Hills' hit-maker scooped the awards for Top Hot 100 Artist, Top R and B Artist and Top R and B Song along with Top Song Sales Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Streaming Songs Artist at the Las Vegas event. Brit sensation Adele was also the big winner of the night as she also took home the Top Billboard 200 Album award for ‘25' along with other major awards. Canadian singer Celine Dion took home the Lifetime Achievement Award.
