Mumbai, May 22 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party MP Anurag Thakur took over as the president of Board of Control for Cricket in India on Sunday. With his appointment as the BCCI chief, Thakur became the youngest person to hold the post. He took over the mantle from Shashank Manohar, who had stepped down a fortnight ago to take over the reigns of ICC. Upon his election, Thakur appointed Ajay Shirke, president of Maharashtra Cricket Association as the secretary.
