A group of Texas cheerleaders have come under criticism on social media after performing a routine to the soundtrack of audio from 9/11.
The video, which was posted online to mark the 14th anniversary of the tragedy, has since been viewed more than 20 million times and some people have reacted on Twitter calling it out to be ‘tasteless’ and ‘cringeworthy’.
The team who attend Lumberton High School in Texas, back-flipped and jumped to God Bless the USA before continuing to dance to clippings from early news reports and George Bush's first speech after the disaster.
