Nepal, May 20 (ANI): The Madeshi Youth forum has decided to protest in the Kathmandu valley from May 19-29 to pressurise the government to accept their demands in the newly adopted constitution that was promulgated last year in September. Hundreds of Madeshi youth have decided to stage protest meetings in different locations in Kathmandu. Madeshis feel that they have been neglected under the new constitution. The Madeshis were demanding demarcation of provinces, fixing of electoral constituencies on the basis of population and proportional representation in the constitution. The Madhesis and their allies have been staging protests in Nepal for the past six months for their demands.
