Amritsar, May 18 (ANI): World's largest single rooftop Solar Power Plant with a capacity of 11.5 MW was inaugurated in Beas, near Amritsar, by Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal. Extremely delighted over the installation of eco-friendly solar project in the state, the Chief Minister dedicated it to Dera Baba Jaimal Singh. The plant, which is spread over 82 acres of rooftop, is in a single campus on multiple roofs with installed capacity of 19.5 MW. CM Badal also expressed his gratitude to revered Radha Soami Satsang Beas Baba Gurinder Singh, stating that it was he who gave a new meaning to living in harmony with nature by establishing the world's largest single rooftop power plant.
