Ajmer, May 17 (ANI): In a tragic incident, eight newborns died within a span of two days in a state-run hospital in Rajasthan’s Ajmer district. The neonatal ward of Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital in Ajmer witnessed eight deaths on Monday and Sunday. While five babies died on Sunday, three more breathed their last on Monday. However, the ignorant hospital staff called the infant deaths a 'natural' phenomenon. The district administration has assured probe. All the deceased newborns were referred to the hospital from various state-run centres.
