Liquor association protests against Nitish Kumar's call for alcohol ban in UP

Lucknow, May 15 (ANI): The Lucknow Liquor Association of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday staged a protest against the visit of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar who arrived in U.P to address a convention to push for the ban on alcohol. Kanhaiya Kumar, the association's general secretary said more than 20 lakh people in state earned their livelihood through liquor and hence it would be inappropriate to ban it. Kumar stressed that Nitish Kumar should focus on Bihar rather than interfering in affairs of other states.
