Beed (Maharashtra), May 15 (ANI): A 40-year old woman was killed while attempting to fetch water from a well in the drought-affected Maharashtra’s Beed district. Mother of three children, Satyabhana’s foot slipped when she tried to take out water from a well located a kilometre away from her house. The police sent the deceased’s body for post-mortem. The region is facing acute water shortage amid scorching summers.
