Footage has emerged from China of 5000 people attending an “opening light” ceremony at a newly-built Taoist tower.
The video, filmed in Huaian, Jiangsu Province last Tuesday, shows thousands of people coming to witness the opening ceremony for the newly-built Guoshi Tower.
An opening light ceremony is a ritual in the Taoist religion, designed to bless the building.
