Film actor Salim Kumar has resigned from the Association of
Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA).The actor alleged that there was
an unwritten law in AMMA that the actors would not directly take
part in the campaign activities in Pathanapuram, where the three main candidates are actor-turned politicians. On Thursday, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal had attended the campaign rally of LDF candidate Ganesh Kumar in Pathanapuram.
