New Delhi, May 12 (ANI): Alia Bhatt, who is known for getting into the skin of every character, has once again gone out of her way to stay true to her role in the upcoming flick, 'Udta Punjab.' Alia, who was present at the 'Ikk Kudi' song launch, said that the song is a journey before she goes to Punjab and because hockey plays a significant role in her character's life, she learnt the basics of the game. The actress also said that playing Hockey was physically demanding, but she hopes she managed to "pretend" convincingly on screen. Alia will be seen in a completely deglammed avatar as a Bihari migrant labourer in Abhishek Chaubey-directorial 'Udta Punjab'. The flick also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles. 'Udta Punjab' is scheduled to release on June 17.
