Srinagar, May 10 (ANI): 23-year-old Athar Iqbal aka DJ Aki, Kashmir's first disc jockey, is all set to groove people to his tunes. He is currently working on the first hip-hop remix album of Kashmiri songs. Athar said DJ'ing was dream come true for him. Since his childhood he wanted to do something to represent Kashmir at an international level. Athar, who considers this as God's gift, said he had to face a lot of hardships and criticism. DJ Aki who spins house, electro house and trance music says that he plays music only for passion. His first hip-hop remix album of the Kashmiri songs will hit the market soon. The first of the six songs 'Yar Chum' is creating quite a buzz in the musical circles in the Valley. DJ Aki also performs in several cities across the country.
