Guwahati, May 09 (ANI): Assam and Nagaland Governor PB Acharya honored the five northeastern women - IPS officer Dr Sanjukta Parashar, veteran Assamese actress Jyanada Kakoti, Ngairangbam Bimolata Devi, Monisha Behal and Daisy Christime Momin - in the recently organised Women Achievers Awards 2016 in Guwahati. When it comes to bravery, how can one forget Dr Sanjukta Parashar, the female IPS officer from Assam, who regularly leads CRPF jawans into dangerous situations. She is known for leading her battalion armed with a loaded AK-47. To recognise her for what she does and what she is, FICCI Ladies Organization honored her with the prestigious Woman Achiever Award conferred by Governor PB Acharya.
