Birgunj (Nepal), May 08 (ANI): Members of Madhesi Morcha in Birgunj organized a protest against Nepal Prime Minister K P Oli, who has rejected Madhesis' demand to rewrite the new constitution. Protesters said he was ignorant to their demands of equal rights to the minority group. Addressing Parliament, PM Oli urged the disgruntled parties to come forward for talks to resolve their issues. However, Madhesis said they were fighting for their rights for long and want justice. Madhesis want the government to rewrite the constitution so that the concept of secularism, identity-based proportional inclusive representation and federal democratic republic status to Nepal can be constitutionally ensured.
