Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who has worked with filmmaker Imtiaz Ali on two films, will reunite with the director once again for his next, but Ranbir won't be playing the lead role.
Buzz is that the Tamasha director wanted to cast an A-lister for a cameo in the film, which will star Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. When the director approached Ranbir to play a small but significant role in the movie, he agreed. Reportedly, Ranbir will be playing Anushka's ex-boyfriend in the film. This will be the third time, Ranbir and Anushka will share screen space after Bombay Velvet and the upcoming Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Ranbir is currently working around the clock to complete his pet project Jagga Jasoos', which has been delayed due to various reasons. Apart from that he will be seen next in Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil this Diwali.
