Richland County, SC ( WIS 10 ) To say the least the video has gone viral and its sparking questions all around the globe. It appears to show a dramatic scene inside of Richland County classroom from earlier today as a school resource officer uses forced to arrest a student. The investigation into what led up to the incident is on going at this point while the sheriff has asked people to avoid the rush to judgment many people are already reacting. Some have words other say they're lost for them. Most school resource officers are great people they do awesome work in our schools but this is a shame. Official save the video seems to show a Richland County Sheriff's Department school resource officer grab a female student at Spring Valley High School slam her to the floor and drag her to the front of the class before arresting the high schooler. The department is withholding judgment until the investigation is complete however the resource officer has been placed on administrative duty. A few more facts we learned from the news conference just hours ago it's believed the student wasn't armed. The female student was released to her parents where are the other was taken into custody no one was injured in the incident according to records from the criminal justice Academy fields has been with since 2004.
