Tulip Fever is an upcoming historical drama film directed by Justin Chadwick and written by Sir Tom Stoppard, adapted from a novel by Deborah Moggach. It stars Alicia Vikander, Dane DeHaan, Zach Galifianakis, Judi Dench, Christoph Waltz, Jack O'Connell, Holliday Grainger, Matthew Morrison and Cara Delevingne. The plot follows a 17th century painter in Amsterdam who falls in love with a married woman he has been hired to draw a portrait of.
The film is set to be released in the United States on August 25, 2017, by The Weinstein Company.
