This boss is somehow easy for me. Make sure you have at least a Dugtrio, Onix, Geodude or any other ground type to beat Lt. Surge. I just used Dugtrio because he was the only ground type I had to face Lt. Surge. I could've just used my other team members, but I thought Dugtrio Vs. Lt. Surge would be nice. He has electric types. Remember, his Pikachu or Raichu can paralyze you if you attack it. Even if you're ground. His Pokemon were easy to take down since I used Dugtrio. Save after the battle in case anything bad happens to your game after the battle. He'll give TM10, Shocky Wave to you. No, Fred's not my real name.
