Varanasi, Apr 27 (ANI): Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali performed in Varanasi despite protests against his performance by a right-wing ally of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. Ali performed on the inaugural day of the festival despite Shiv Sena's calls to cancel the performance. The ghazal singer's music left foreign tourists impressed. Visitors familiar with Ali's work too enjoyed the music. With this show, Ali has had five performances in Varanasi till now. He had rendered his compositions at the Sankat Mochan Sangeet Samaroh last year too.
