Visakhapatnam, Apr 27 (ANI): A massive fire engulfed a bio-diesel manufacturing unit at Duvvada Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday night. A total of 18 diesel tanks were present at the unit, of which 12 tanks blasted and got burnt. The intensity of the flames was such that the Eastern Naval Command was pressed into service to aid the local authorities in fire fighting. Over 40 fire tenders are still battling the Duvvada inferno at Biomax Fuels Limited. Indian Navy is still tending to the fire but it will take 4-5 hours to bring the situation under control.
