This suspenseful 1944 programmer from PRC stars Jean Parker as a woman wrongfully accused of murdering a man who was blackmailing her family. In a cruel twist of fate, Ithe man in charge of Mary's (Parker) looming death sentence is also her fiancé. Lionel Atwill appears as the criminologist intent on finding the true murderer before the innocent girl's life is put to a tragic end.
