New Delhi, April 25 (ANI): Looks like the overdose of powerful painkillers have been one of the reasons behind the death of pop-icon Prince. According to the revelation by late singer's long-time drug dealer, Doctor D, the 'Purple Rain' hit-maker was hooked on powerful opiates for more than 25 years, spending up to 40,000 dollars a time on six-month supplies. According to sources, few days before his death, Prince overdosed on the opiate Percocet, which he had prescribed for a hip problem. On the other hand, Prince's brother in-law revealed that he worked 154 hours straight i.e more than six days before he died. However, the exact cause of Prince's death is yet to be confirmed, with his publicist issuing a brief statement revealing the autopsy results would not be known for at least four weeks. Prince was found dead in a lift at his Paisley Park home in Minneapolis on April 21.
