Madhesi leaders expand their movement to involve youths

Nepal, Apr 23 (ANI): For strengthening the Madhesi movement, Madhesi leaders have started working with youths and involving students in protests. Student leader Ajay Jha said that all students should be brought together for the movement because they can provide a vision for the development of Madhes. Tarai-Madhes Loktantrik Party feels that all students of Madhes should be united. Our movement can be boosted by Madhesi youths who will be able to provide a better vision for Madhes. Madhesi people have been protesting since long to get equal rights and remove the existing constitution. Sharif Ghadi, a Madhesi youth leader, said that the movement will continue until their demands are fulfilled, and that poeple of Nepal will be able to stay in peace only when they get equal rights. Sharif directly blamed the Arya Samaj by saying they have pushed youths into slavery. Countrywide protests have been planned from April 27. Due to the Madhesi agitation, Nepal's industrial sector has incurred losses worth 200 billion Nepalese rupees. More than 50 people have been killed in protests.
