The group claims they could not feel or see the mist until they looked back at the jaw-dropping footageThis video shows the moment unexplained mist covered a children's play centre as paranormal investigators filmed the spooky goings-on.

The video was taken by a group of ghost hunters at a play area called The Village in Mansfield.

It shows the weird fog flowing through the building on a fixed black and white camera filming the room.

The thick, white smog travels through the room in lines and disappears off camera.

Others suggested they could see 'orbs' floating along the side of the room, which has no windows. The smoke was also apparently not visible to the naked eye at the time of filming.

It was filmed as part of an experiment by a ghost hunting group and lead paranormal investigator Lee Roberts.

The building was built in 1802 as a Slaughter House and Malt House, the Malt house lasted until mid way through the 20th Century when Mansfield Brewery took over.

In the 1970's it turned into a nightclub called "The Village" hence the name.

These days, it plays host to laser tag games and ghost hunts, which is where this footage came from.

Lee said: "The mist appeared just after the group that was there started their investigation around 9.30pm.It didn't have any pattern to it and it kept coming and going, sometimes people were in the room and other time they weren't.

"I went down myself to inspect and you couldn't actually see the mist with your naked eye and other cameras didn't pick it up."

So far, the mysterious fog remains unexplained and other ghost hunters are keen to check it out.

The video was posted to Facebook where it attracted the attention of other investigators.
