Golden St won despite the team resting Stephen Curry with an ankle problem he suffered in Game 1. Without Curry the Warriors shot 49.5% from the floor and 8 of 23 from the three point line. Klay Thompson had 34 points and five assists hitting on 8 of 20 shots. Andre Iguodala chipped in with 18 points off the bench.
The Rockets shot 44.3% from the field with 10 of 25 from three. James Harden had 28 points along with 11 assists hitting on 7 of 19 shots. Houston helped give away Game 2 by committing 19 turnovers. They also allowed 56 points in the paint to the Warriors.
