Bengaluru, Apr 20 (ANI): Karnataka Home Minister G Parmeshwar on Wednesday defended police' action on the garments workers, saying that in order to maintain the law and order situation, the action taken was essential and correct. Parmeshwar added that there has been a severe loss of property and lives, adding that the Centre's decision of amendment in provident fund was taken without the consent of the state government.
