Srinagar limps back to normalcy after 5 days

Srinagar, Apr 18 (ANI): All business establishments, schools remained open in Srinagar on Monday after complete shutdown for five consecutive days. The shutdown was observed against the civilian killings in north Kashmir. The government had earlier imposed restrictions in many areas, which have been lifted. Mobile and internet services that were suspended have been restored, giving relief to the people. There were no restrictions in old Srinagar areas, including Maisuma, area of Civil Lines. Meanwhile, restrictions continued to remain in force in Handwara and Kupwara towns.
