The whole raid was done fairly legit (very light cheesing). The original intention was to try doing the whole raid (up until Atheon) as a fireteam of 3 guardians only, but multiple people joined and we soon realized that it'd be way too hard and long if there were just three people (though that's not to say it would be impossible).
This Raid video can be used as a How To guide for the Vault of Glass Hard Mode. We cover a fair bit of pointers and strategies as well as tips for various sections of the raid, though I must admit watching an entire raid playthrough to understand the basic principles can be vexing to say the least. I will one day upload brief guides for the three raids in the game. (like, under 2 minutes kinda brief)
Hard Mode Vault of Glass is largely the exact same as Normal mode except for a few parts. Namely, you can only cleanse so many times during the Oracle phase of the Templar fight, bosses enrage a little faster, and Oracles have much more health... and that's about all that changes. If you can run Normal Mode easily then the only thing you need to change is how many Heavy Ammo Synths you have on you, otherwise check out this guide.
