My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks is the upcoming sequel to the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic film spin-off My Little Pony Equestria Girls. The film was announced by Hasbro as part of a press kit at the 2014 International Toy Fair. Not much is known about the plot except that it will feature a battle of the bands plotline and that it will be released sometime in fall 2014. When asked about it on an AMA for Reddit, Tara Strong also confirmed it saying, Itll be adorable. The sequel was also confirmed by Entertainment Weekly, who showed an exclusive clip. It was revealed at New York International Toy Fair that, like this films predecessor, this film will also get a theatrical release.\r
