Bipolar Religiosity

A discussion of my mental health issues and history, especially bipolar religiosity, while hiking in the beautiful Alaskan wilderness near Eagle River, Alaska.

I spent 15 years of my younger life alternating between periods of extreme fundamentalist Christian religious belief and periods of unbelief marked by alcohol and drug abuse. When I was manic, I was very religious. When I was depressed or on a more even keel, I wasn't religious, but I did self-medicate with alcohol and drugs.

I have written a book on bipolar disorder and bipolar religiosity. It is available to read here: http://www.amazon.com/Bipolar-Religio...

Just FYI, this video consists of two separate videos that I made on my phone. So I apologize for the lack of a gap between videos and the somewhat rambling nature of them, and I also apologize for the low quality pic of me that I put at the beginning of the video. Should have used a better pic. :)
