My first wet race. Monza. This one didn't turn out as well as it would have done if I had noticed the change in the weather before I started the race! The one thing it did illustrate is that setup is crucial in this game, even if the options seem a little limited, because the right suspension settings can make all the difference.
The AI do behave differently in the wet, but not always in the ways you might expect. At times the rain barely seems to affect them at all, yet at others, they seem to overcompensate tremendously, making overtakes and braking points a bit of a lottery when you are in close proximity. Overall though, the weather effects are very good for a game from 2008.
Enjoy the racing. I'm afraid there is no replay as it glitched out and gave me only 5 minutes of footage - a shame as it looked really good. I have found this replay glitch to be quite common, although if you select the option for a second time it usually plays right through.
