Ex-servicemen file defamation, sedition case against Kanhaiya in Dharamshala

Dharamshala, Apr 07 (ANI): Retired Indian Army personnel from Himachal Pradesh on Thursday filed a criminal complaint against Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union (JNUSU) president Kanhaiya Kumar for his alleged derogatory remarks against the Indian Army at an event in New Delhi. The complaint was filed with the session judge of Kangra district at Dharamshala. The complaint includes charges of sedition, defamation, provocation for breach of peace. Kanhaiya while addressing the students in an event voiced highly objectionable remarks against Indian Army posted in Jammu and Kashmir. Over two dozen ex-servicemen gathered at the martyrs' memorial in Dharamshala today to pay homage to brave martyrs and then moved to the court to file the criminal complaint. They had issued a legal notice to Kanhaiya on 12th of March to which he didn't respond.
