Panama Papers: Iceland's prime minister Sigmundur Gunnlaugsson resigns

The prime minister of Iceland has resigned over allegations he had concealed millions of dollars worth of family assets, after the Panama Papers leaks which have shed an embarrassing spotlight on the world of offshore finance.
A big protest was held in front of parliament on Monday calling for Sigmundur Gunnlaugsson's resignation after the leaks from Panama law firm Mossack Fonseca, which showed the prime minister owned an offshore company with his wife.
