Dolly (name changed) alleged a man she knew raped and abused her repeatedly for days. She says the police official she met to lodge a complaint first slapped her and then harassed her for nearly a month. She alleged she was misled and forced to dilute her own complaint.
She is now monitoring her court case on her own and has filed a protest review petition against the police's final report, which she claims was filed even without considering her statement before the magsistrate recorded under Section 164 of the Indian Penal Code.
