Lucknow, Apr 04 (ANI): A special CBI court on Monday sentenced 47 policemen to life imprisonment for killing 10 Sikh pilgrims in Pilibhit in 1991, who they claimed were Khalistani terrorists. Divulging details of the court’s order, victim’s lawyer SP Jaiswal said the court has sentenced all the policemen involved in the fake encounter and have further fined them according to their posts. Jaiswal informed that the family of the victims will get Rs 14 lakh each as compensation amount.
