Karachi/Lahore, Apr 03 (ANI): Dozens of Pakistani Christians offered flowers and lit candles in Karachi to pay homage to the Lahore’s Gulshan-E-Iqbal Park blast victims. A suicide bomber killed at least 72 people in a park in Lahore on Easter. Responsibility for Sunday's suicide bombing at a public park was claimed by the Pakistani Taliban's Jamaat-ur-Ahrar faction, which once declared loyalty to Islamic State. The group said it was targeting Christians. Meanwhile, representatives of different faiths expressed their solidarity with the victims of Lahore attack. More than three hundred people were wounded in the blast. Meanwhile, Leaders representing people of different faith held a news conference in Lahore. They expressed solidarity with the victims and stood hand-in-hand to express unity among Pakistani people. The Easter bombing was Pakistan's deadliest attack since a 2014 school massacre by the Taliban, which killed 134 students. The attack, which included 29 children among the 72 dead, showed the militants can still cause carnage despite military raids on their northwestern strongholds.
