NIT Srinagar to return to normalcy following clashes over India's loss in World T20

Srinagar, Apr 03 (ANI): Classes at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Kashmir will resume from tomorrow after the college was shut down following clashes between students, police. Police said situation inside the campus was normal and the academic activities would resume from Monday. According to reports, the NIT authorities had on Friday ordered shut down in the campus after two groups of students, one from Kashmir and the other from another state, fought after local students burst crackers late Thursday night after Indian cricket team lost their semi-final bout against West Indies in the ongoing World T20. To control the situation, officials closed the institute’s entrance and did not allow anyone to enter.
